Well, hello Mr. Alexander!
Nice presentation, sir. You blew away my expectations!
I highly recommend a buffer, by the way. It does wonders for your sanity and self esteem. :D

Thanks! My problems with generating a buffer:
1) I am an instant gratification junkie.
2) I waste my time drawing other stuff--you know what I mean ;)
My self esteem is doing just fine thank you, it's just that I'm drinking 4-8 cups of coffee a day...

Holy crap, the build up to the last shot is amazing. Great use of effective perspective, Lir. :O

Thanks! This trip to Autumn Bay is a way of forcing myself to work on fast, effective backgrounds.

Buffers take away the scent of ozone and gunpowder. However, you can't build a life in a war zone.

Sweet!
I need you to start laying out pages in MY comic.
I can't pay you.
Unless coffee counts.
Seriously, damn fine job, sir.
A delicious example of pacing.
Can't wait to learn more about Augustus Alexander.
And buffers are for the weak!!! THE WEAK!!!!

Buffer, buffer, buffer, BUFFER!!!
The only buffer I know is for storing data.
Gosh! Guys!
You either have the page I can read or I am leaving. Stop it!
:D

I do not think Sam has much to say in this situation.
Thinking they want him working for them.
Hm, can MSV say "my town" as well? Or do they say "my state?"

Stick around and you might get to see what MSV thinks of bold declarations such as this...

Lir, I know YOU are writing this.
So it is going to be something like "my country" or "my world."
*SLAP*
OK... I will be a good student, sit down and listen.

I know it was said already, but I love the up shot in the last panel. Great entrance!

Tweaked "camera angle" in order to accentuate Mr. Alexander's imperious nature. I imagine him to be of average height yet somehow giving the impression of looking down on most people. I mean my god his name is "Augustus Alexander"... you can't sell hot dogs with a name like that.

Something about that long, thin mustache kind of undermines his display of hospitality. Though I guess that's the point, and the facial hair is a great semiotic device for that.
